Our rates are based on the size of your business and are billed as flat monthly rates.
What's included

Every month, we reconcile your bank and credit card accounts, categorize transactions, and deliver financial statements. We verify everything against your bank feeds and catch misclassifications, duplicates, and errors before they have a chance to build up. At year-end, your tax accountant gets an organized file ready for tax prep.

How pricing works
​
Your rate is based on your monthly expense volume because that's what drives complexity. A landscaping company running $15,000 a month through the business pays less than a general contractor running $150,000. We look at your recent activity, set a flat monthly rate, and that's what you pay. If your business grows and volume increases significantly, we will have a conversation about adjusting the price.

We are able to offer custom packaging based on your needs with add-on services like bill payment, payroll processing and receipt management.
Desert Basic $300 - $400 / Month
​Recommended for small contractors, tradesmen and handymen. Includes monthly bank reconciliations, transaction organization, monthly reports and ongoing support.
New Client Set up Fee: Starting at $250 / One-time

QuickBooks Online Setup & Optimization – We set up or clean up your QuickBooks company file, organize chart of accounts, and tailor settings to your construction business.

Bank and Credit Card Connections – We securely connect your financial accounts to ensure accurate imports and monthly reconciliations.

Historical Data Organization – Import, review and organize prior transactions so your records are complete and accurate moving forward. (Up to 2 months, then additional hourly charges can apply)

Contractor Essentials $400 - $550 / Month

Builder Pro $850/ Month
​Recommended for established companies with multiple employees and subcontractors. Includes everything in Contractor Essentials. Payroll Processing, WIP reporting, TPT Preparation & Filing and Vendor Management.

Hello! My name is Jody Moreno.
I have spent more than 20 years supporting businesses through bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and business operations. I was mentored by the late Eric Arnett of
Arnett Accounting in Cottonwood, Arizona and I am professionally
certified in Accounting.
A significant part of my career was spent as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper, where I managed bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, insurance certificates, lien releases, and administration. My experience includes working for Mingus and Gantry Constructors, Inc., Oak Creek Water Co. and Suddenlink Communications. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the financial and operational challenges contractors and service professionals face every day.
Today, as the owner of Desert Builders Bookkeeping, LLC, I specialize in helping
construction companies and service professionals stay organized, manage job costs, process payroll, and maintain accurate financial records. My goal is to provide reliable, personalized bookkeeping services that allow builders to spend less time on paperwork and more time growing their business.
